In early 2024, Storya was invited to be Filmmakers in Residence at MUSA, a private community in Mexico, nestled amidst the scenic Sierra Madres and the Pacific’s unfiltered coastline. What we didn’t know before we arrived was that MUSA is much more than a boutique hotel and restaurant - it’s a proposal for a new utopia.

During our stay, we visited a family of three generations living off grid high in the mountains, foraged sea urchins with the head chef for dinner, and met an incredible array of artists and creatives from around the world. We left moved and inspired and are already dreaming of our return.
